In the golden autumn season, more than 100 mu (about 6.67 hectares) of red sorghum in Dalanping Community of Dalan Town, Luxi County is ripe, with full grains hanging on branches, and farmers are busy harvesting it with agricultural machines in the fields.
In recent years, based on resource advantages, Dalanping Community has made efforts to develop the red sorghum industry through measures such as extending the industrial chain and expanding employment channels. It has also promoted contract agriculture to ensure high yield of sorghum and increase farmers’ income.
